INDUSTRY OVERVIEW CLASS

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our custom on-site class is intended for office employees needing a better understanding of oil and gas electronic flow measurement, chromatography, instrumentation, communications, well management and automation controls. With these acquired skills you and your employees will be more efficient in your role. An understanding of what happens in the field – where gas goes, why it goes there and how it is transported – can improve efficiency in all areas of the business. Accounting, marketing, new executives, purchasing, project managers, and engineers are just a few of the types of employees who greatly benefit from this course.

Having spent nearly 15 years in the oil and gas industry, we noticed a trend… no matter how many years of school new employees or professionals hired into the oil and gas industry may have, there is a wealth of industry specific knowledge that can’t be learned in a formal institution. Knowledge from the industry that needs to be passed down quickly to new employees. White Hat’s instructors are passionate about making it simple to understand the oil and gas industry. We help you understand the market, upstream, midstream and downstream. No complicated calculations involved, just simple easy to grasp principles of our industry. We tailor to the needs of new employees as well as technical employees needing to know basics and oil and gas electronics. Our instructors take pride in making your class fun and interesting.

ENROLLMENT

To schedule a class at your location please give us a call or fill out the  form below. Payment arrangements should be made at the time of enrollment. Students are responsible for travel, lodging and other expenses.

Enrollment confirmations will be emailed upon approval. Enrollees should receive a reminder email approximately two (2) weeks prior to the class start date. If, for any reason, the location of the class is changed, students will be notified.

PRICING

Industry Overview Class

  • Industry Overview classes start at $5000 per class, per 10 students
  • Class duration is typically one (1) day, but is negotiable depending on your needs
  • Travel and lodging of the instructor is in addition to the base class fee

Measurement & Automation Fundamentals Class

  • Classes are $1200 per student
  • Class duration is two (2) days
  • Daily class schedule is Wednesday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Classes are limited to a maximum of ten (10) students with a minimum of four (4) students to hold the class
  • Travel and lodging of the instructor is in addition to the base class fee

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

White Hat Oil and Gas reserves the right to reschedule, discontinue or cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment of students. In the event of a course change or cancellation, the student will be notified two (2) weeks before the class.
Students who cancel enrollment between three (3) and ten (10) business days prior to the class start date will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. “No Show” students and students who cancel enrollment less than three (3) business days prior to the class date will be responsible for the full tuition, regardless of payment arrangements.
This policy will define how training class cancellations are handled. This policy covers White Hat’s cancellation of a class, minimum student enrollment requirements, cancellation by student, and customer specific class cancellation.

 
Class Cancellations (by White Hat):

It is our intent to avoid cancellation or rescheduling of any training events. Unfortunately circumstances occasionally require us to cancel or reschedule class. Instructor-led classes are student-enrollment dependant. The required minimum student enrollment is ten (10) students for instructor-led classes. Classes with enrollment of less than ten (10) students are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of the training manager. Classes will be cancelled no less than twelve (12) business days before the scheduled start day of class. Cancellation notices will be sent to enrolled students by email, to the address provided at the time of enrollment / registration in the learning management system. Students will not be charged any training fees for classes cancelled by White Hat. As circumstances may require us to cancel or reschedule classes; please consider this when arranging travel. We are not liable for any expenses incurred due to class re-scheduling or cancellation.

Enrollment Cancellations (by Student):

We request students cancel enrollment online as soon as possible. All classes have limited seating, so in the event you cannot attend please allow room for other students to participate, by canceling your enrollment. Student cancellations received thirteen (13) business days (3PM CST) before the start of class will not be billed (full reimbursement of tuition). Student cancellation received twelve (12) business days or less before the start of class will be billed for full tuition (no reimbursement of tuition). Students who do not cancel before the scheduled start of class will be billed for the full class tuition. There is no credit or refund of tuition due to failure to attend without notice.

Customer Class Cancellations (by customer):

Regional and customer specific classes are scheduled per customer’s request. These classes entail additional cost investment for White Hat and therefore have a specific cancellation policy. Regional and customer specific classes cancelled 15 business days or less before the start of class will incur a 25% cancellation fee of the total original price. This fee is not refundable nor may it be credited to any other class tuition. Regional and customer specific classes cancelled five (5) business days or less before the start of class will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total original price. This fee is not refundable nor may it be credited to any other class tuition.
